What's the story?

Enthusiasts to the core,  founder members Ethan Berry and Matt Bennett joined together in 2012 to form a unique tribute to Oasis with a focus on replicating the classic live sound and sets of Oasis.

Playing numerous dates across the Northwest of England, they gathered a reputation and kudos as one of the most accurate and respectful tributes to the live sound of Oasis.

After a short hiatus, Standing on the Shoulder of Oasis are back with a new lineup and revitalised energy for bringing the very best Oasis live experience to venues across the UK.

What's the story?: About

"We booked to see you at Marsden, and we came down with two groups of friends, were warmly greeted at the door by band members who we were surprised to be the ones checking tickets. We had a brilliant night and you ticked off every song we wanted to hear, lovely to chat with a couple of you afterwards too - thanks it's just what Marsden needed - Jenny , Marsden

Ethan Berry as Liam

Vocals

Ethan is no stranger to performing, as a scriptwriter, actor, and singer,  Ethan has toured with the Hull Truck Theatre Company and has assisted in directing Willy Russell's  Blood Brothers in North Yorkshire.

Ethan didn't get into singing until he was around the age of 17 and found that when entertaining folks on the Karaoke scene he could impersonate the likes of Robbie Williams and Liam Gallagher to name but a few. This was inspired from growing up in the 80's and 90's when he was 'mad fer' Oasis when they first rose to fame

In 2012 his dream to perform as LG and front an Oasis tribute band was realised when he finally managed to meet like-minded musicians including Matt Bennett (Noel) and formed the band known as Standing on the shoulder of Oasis, and as they say..the rest is history!.
